1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing or using Timxel (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who can use Timxel

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Timxel. If you use the Service on behalf of a household (a family account), you confirm you're authorized to invite and manage the members you add.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Veterinarian accounts must submit truthful credentials. We may verify, badge or revoke vet status at our discretion.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, reels, comments, records and other content you post ("Your Content"). By posting, you grant Timxel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and distribute Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service — for example, showing your pet's memories in feeds followers see. This license ends when you delete Your Content, except for content others have re-shared or that we must retain by law.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to post it.

5. Community rules

Timxel is a public, feed-first community with no direct messages. When you use it, don't:

• Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content.
• Depict or promote animal cruelty, abuse or neglect.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent veterinary credentials or advice.
• Spam, scrape, or attempt to harvest data or disrupt the Service.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy.
• Upload malware or attempt to breach our security.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules or harm the community.

6. Not veterinary advice

Help posts and answers on Timxel — including those from verified veterinarians — are for general information and community support. They are not a substitute for an in-person examination, diagnosis or treatment by a licensed veterinarian. In an emergency, contact a local vet or emergency clinic immediately. You are solely responsible for decisions about your pet's care.

7. Health records

Medical records, vaccines, medications and family-tree links you add are provided by you for your own tracking. Timxel does not verify their accuracy and is not a medical records provider. Keep your own copies of anything important.

8. Intellectual property

The Timxel name, logo, app, website and their design are owned by Timxel and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any right to use our branding without permission.

9. Third-party stores and services

Timxel is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and their terms also apply to your download and use. We rely on third-party providers for hosting and media storage; their availability can affect the Service.

10. Fees

Timxel is free for pet parents. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll make the terms and pricing clear before you buy.

11. Termination

You may stop using Timxel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users. Sections meant to survive termination — such as content licenses already granted to others, disclaimers and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timxel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

14. Changes to the Service and terms

We may update, add or remove features, and we may revise these terms. When we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Timxel after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
